STATE-SELECTED FLUORESCENCE LIFETIMES AND COLLISIONAL QUENCHING RATES OF HNO (A1A'')

摘要
The fluorescence lifetimes of HNO (A 1A″) were directly measured in the gas phase by a pulsed dye laser and an on-line multichannel scaler system. The zero-pressure lifetimes extrapolated from the Stern-Volmer plots were (8+21-4 and (7.4 ± 2) μs for the (011) and (010) levels, respectively. The rate constants for quenching by N2 were 1.7 × 10-10 and 4.6 × 10-11 cm3 molec-1 s-1 for the (011) and (010) levels, respectively. © 1979.
