摘要：

A simple, rapid procedure for the separation and quantitative elution of tritium-labeled pyrimidine derivatives has been described. Studies carried out on tissue extracts following the injection of animals with 3H-cytidine or 3H-uridine indicate that the procedure offers an excellent method for preliminary study of the kinetics of in corporation of these tritiated precursors into RNA and its precursor pools. The method also shows promise for rapidly testing the purity of commercially available tritium-labeled compounds. The chromatographic procedure may be extended for use in the determination of the nucleotide composition of RNA. © 1969.
