SOLUBILITY OF CO2 IN 2-AMINO-2-METHYL-1-PROPANOL SOLUTIONS

摘要
The solubility of carbon dioxide in 2 and 3 M solutions of 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP) was determined at 20, 40, 60, and 80-degrees-C and for CO2 partial pressures ranging from approximately 1 to 100 kPa. The results were interpreted with a modified Kent-Eisenberg model, which predicted the present and previous experimental results well. The absorption capacities of AMP and monoethanolamine (MEA) solutions are also compared.
