NITROUS OXIDE-ACETYLENE FLAME IN EMISSION ANALYSIS .I. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

摘要
Detection limits of 34 elements by flame emission have been determined in the nitrous oxide-acetylene flame. The slot burner used for this flame in atomic absorption proves successful also in emission. Excellent sensitivities are found for many elements, especially lithium, the heavier alkaline earths and the IIIA elements. The intense background requires the use of a high quality monochromator. © 1968.
