Binuclear iron(III) and copper(II) complexes with N-salicylidene-2-hydroxy-5-chloro(or bromo)benzylamine (H2L), [Fe2(L)2(CH3COO)2].2THF (THF = tetrahydrofuran) and [Cu2(L)2(DMSO)2].2DMSO (DMSO = dimethyl sulfoxide) have been prepared and characterized by X-ray structure analysis and magnetic susceptibilities (80-300 K).
