摘要
The stability of CO2 dissolved water layer against ambient flow was conducted in order to assess the new concept of CO2 storage in the deep ocean, in which the solubility of CO2 clathrate-hydrate is assumed. From the experimental data, the Richardson Number at the limit velocity to keep the layer stable was evaluated as 19.2. This value corresponds to 0.66 m/s for 100 meters height of stratified layer. This result is favorable to the realization of CO2 storage in large hollows at the ocean basin.
