摘要
A new iterative procedure for the static analysis of cable-stayed structures is presented. The procedure converges for flexible and stiff towers. Towers having different degrees of restraint, such as fixed base, hinged base, and caisson- or pile-supported towers (soil-structure interaction) can be analyzed. The method is simple, efficient, converges after a few cycles, and does not need a large computer memory. Parametric study on cable-stayed bridges has been performed to illustrate the behavior of such flexible structures.
