ANALYSIS OF THE 5TH SPECTRUM OF COBALT (COV)

The spectrum of cobalt has been measured in the regions 300-450 Å and 900-1500 Å in which the transitions between the 3d44p and 3d5 configurations and those from 3d44p to 3d44s have been located. In these regions 691 lines and 377 lines respectively could be classified. All 37 levels of the 3d5 ground configuration have been found. Out of the 180 levels of 3d44p and out of the 63 levels of 3d44s 173 levels and 57 levels respectively have been determined. Parametric configuration calculations of the three configurations were performed. The parameter values are given. © 1979.
