THE KARLHEDE CLASSIFICATION OF TYPE-D VACUUM SPACETIMES

摘要
We show that, by employing the Bianchi identities, the field equations and symmetry conditions, we can reduce the upper bound on the order of the covariant derivative of the Riemann tensor needed to provide a Karlhede classification of a type D vacuum spacetime. © 1990 IOP Publishing Ltd.
