HISTOCOMPATIBILITY-14 - CORRELATION OF ISOANTIGEN RHO AND R-Z LOCUS

摘要：

Serological and genetic methods were used to show that the “rho” and “R” are serologically identical products of the same gene and that “Z” is produced by an allele at the same locus. The locus has been assigned the symbol H-14. Strain distribution and tissue distribution are reported. Although the antigen induces hemagglutinating antibody, skin grafts incompatible with respect to H-14 remain healthy for more than 300 days. A congenic line for this locus is described. © 1969 by The Williams & Wilkins Co.
