THE HORIZONTAL DISTRIBUTION OF SPACE CORRELATION-COEFFICIENTS OF WIND FLUCTUATIONS IN THE ATMOSPHERIC SURFACE-LAYER

摘要
The horizontal distribution of space correlation coefficients of wind fluctuations was investigated in the atmospheric surface layer. The observational network of wind sensors was arranged to form a two-dimensional extension in the horizontal plane. The shape of the distribution of the correlation coefficients was approximated by a group of concentric ellipses; streamwise and lateral integral scales were estimated as 75 m and 25 m, respectively. Taylor's frozen eddy hypothesis was tested using streamwise and time integral scales.
