摘要
The solids holdup within the riser of a circulating fluidized bed (CFB) with two-component particles was measured. Iron powders and silica sand, which are of nearly the same diameter but different in density, were mixed and fluidized. A correlation was proposed to estimate the axial solids holdup within the riser by considering superficial gas velocity, solids circulation rate and initial concentration of iron powder. of iron powder.
