摘要
The usefulness of a new non-destructive and non-invasive method based on the 'knife edge' detection technique for monitoring the contraction, expansion, amplitude and frequency of beating hearts is discussed. The sample used to demonstrate the potentiality of this method was an early embryonic heart of about 600 mu m in size.
