摘要
The kinetics of nucleation and crystallization were studied experimentally. The population balance was used to simulate the nucleation and crystallization process of zeolite A. The parameters involved in the population balance model can be estimated by fitting the experimental data with the model. Although the model could reasonably describe the time variation of the crystallinity, it failed to adequately simulate the crystal size distribution, partially due to the uncertainty of the nucleation mechanism.
