摘要：

This article presents the results of research that identified five patterns of attitudes and beliefs individual biochemists hold toward taking action for scientific wrongdoing. The effects of intraprofessional status, departmental cohesion, institutional pressure for external grants, and professional solidarity on these attitudes and beliefs are also presented.
