摘要
We describe the results of a systematic study, using electron microscopy, of short range order (SRO) in quenched Ni4Mo. This has confirmed our earlier electron diffraction results [3] on the absence of microdomains in the quenched state. We propose and discuss a model for SRO in this alloy, based on the concept of static concentration waves. The initial stages of the transformation to the ordered structure have been studied for two ageing temperatures (800°C and 750°C) and the ordering has been shown to occur by nucleation and growth of ordered domains in both cases. © 1979.
