摘要
Based on the transformation matrix which is derived from three-dimensional contact kinematic conditions and the incremental restricted variational principle formulated, a general but effective finite element technique satisfying various contact conditions is established for static and dynamic analysis of three-dimensional contact problems with friction. Using this technique, the mismatching of contact nodes is permitted and the number of system equations may be greatly decreased. An accurate analysis of the relative sliding of the contact points on the contact surface is made and the frictional traction which satisfies the friction law can be directly computed. The static condensation technique is implemented to handle the unknown contact boundary conditions and the cost of computer usage is therefore reduced. A set of correction formulae for velocities and accelerations on the contact surface of two impact components is presented. Several static and dynamic examples are given to demonstrate the validity and applicability of this work. © 1990.
