摘要
Ultrafine silver particles were prepared by gas evaporation onto glass slides. The optical transmittance of such coatings was recorded. Provided that proper regard was given to the occurence of sulfide pellicles and to the aggregated nature of the deposits, our measured data agree qualitatively with computations based on the Maxwell Garnett formalism. The main conclusion is the assertion of a conceptual model for gas evaporated matter, formulated in a recent paper of ours. © 1979.
