摘要
Accurate masses are reported for the components of the nearby binary Ross 614 AB by supplementing visual and photographic measurements with 1D and 2D infrared speckle data taken during the last seven years. The new data presented here, in conjunction with all available previous resolved observations of the system, yield larger masses for the components, 0.179 +/- 0.047 and 0.083 +/- 0.023. M., than previously reported. Both components are among the handful of systems with masses determined to be less-than-or-equal-to 0.2 M., and provide important calibration points for the lower main sequence.
