摘要
Treatment of [{WCl4}2{mu-NC6H4N-1,4}] (obtained from WOCl4 and C6H4 (NCO)2-1,4) with PMe2Ph results in the formation of reduced phosphine derivatives. Crystals of the tungsten(V) binuclear complex [{WCl3(PMe2Ph)2}2{mu-NC6H4N-1,4}] have been obtained and a single-crystal X-ray structural analysis shows the two mer, trans-WCl3 (PMe2Ph)2 fragments to be linked in an eclipsed conformation by a linear, pi-bonded 1,4-phenylenediimido bridge.
