摘要
To understand Osler's philosophy of death, 52 major essays and lectures written by Sir William Osler while he was in the United States and Great Britain were reviewed. Other factors, such as the spiritual environment in which he was brought up, and personal experiences with deaths of family members, his teachers, close friends, and the many patients for whom he cared, help us to understand this reknowned physician's philosophy on death and dying.
