摘要
Adsorption features (number of surface sites and binding energy) and morphological aspects of a selection of finely divided solids (ZrO2, crystalline and amorphous SiO2, SiC whiskers) have been investigated by adsorption microcalorimetry and electron microscopy (TEM, HREM). The role of the 'form' (shaped, dimension and micromorphology) of the particles on the surface chemistry is particularly stressed.
