摘要：

Tick-Borne Encephalitis (TEE) virus is a member of the flaviviridae family causing meningitis and meningoencephalitis particularly in Asia and Central Europe. In France the first case of TEE infection was observed in 1968. Since, and until 1994, we have collected 21 cases of patients according to personal observations and Literature datas. Clinical features observed are meningitis (6), meningo-encephalitis (13), meningo-radiculitis (1) and an isolated febrile syndrome in one case. All these patients were contaminated in Alsace where this infection is probably underestimated. Further survey should be performed to clarify the real incidence of TEE virus in France.
