摘要:
We study the numerical solution to the full held equations describing the evolution of a spherically symmetric global texture. We concentrate on the evolution of the fields after the texture collapses. We compare this result with a previous analytical solution found by Turok and Spergel using the nonlinear a model approximation. The energy produced in massive modes is of the order of 10(16) GeV and is almost independent of the initial size of the texture.
