ANISOTROPIC VARIATION OF TC AND TN IN URU2SI2 BY UNIAXIAL PRESSURE

摘要
The effect of uniaxial stress on the superconducting and magnetic transition temperature in the heavy-fermion system URu2Si2 has been investigated by means of resistivity measurements. The uniaxial pressure effects on T(c) and T(N) are inversely connected: T(c) increases and T(N) decreases for a stress along the tetragonal axis, while a stress in the plane results in the opposite effect.
