TRANSMISSION ELECTRON-MICROSCOPY OBSERVATIONS OF PRECIPITATES IN ZNTE - SHAPE OF THE TELLURIUM SOLIDUS LINE

摘要
The shape of the tellurium, Te, solidus line in ZnTe after high temperature annealing under tellurium atmosphere followed by quenching is discussed. A precipitated phase is observed in the Transmission Electron Microscope, which confirms without relying on electrical measurements, that the Te solidus line is retrogade, with consequences on the stoichiometry of the as-grown crystals. © 1979.
