SATELLITE STRUCTURE OF CHROMIUM K-ALPHA X-RAYS, INDUCED BY 1.0 AND 1.4MEV/U HEAVY-IONS

摘要
Cr K-alpha satellite lines are measured with high resolution from four Cr containing solid targets excited by 1.0 and 1.4 MeV/u H-1, He-4, C-12, O-16 and Cl-35 ions. Differences are seen for heavy ions in the intensity pattern, which can be approximated by a binomial distribution, and are correlated to valency 3 or 6 of Cr (6 toxic).
