摘要
A kinetic model is presented that describes both homogeneous (k(q)) and heterogeneous (gamma) deactivation of O2(1DELTA)(g) in a flow reactor experiment. The model is validated through measurements made on Pyrex surfaces where k(q) and gamma were found to be (1.6+/-0.4) X 10(-18) and (3.1+/-0.2) X 10(-5) cm3 s-1 respectively. The model has been used to interpret data recorded for aged surfaces of the following metals: nickel gamma = (3.2+/-0.2) X 10(-4), copper gamma = (2.9+/-0.2) X 10(-4), 10/90 nickel-copper alloy gamma = (2.8+/-0.2) X 10(-4), and inconel gamma = (1.2+/-0.2) X 10(-4).
