摘要：

The first twenty energy levels of the three-dimensional quartic oscillator with angular momentum quantum number l = 0, 1, 2 have been obtained by diagonalizing several 50 × 50 Hamiltonian matrices with the representation of the harmonic oscillator. Variational approximations following the method of McWeeny and Coulson are used in obtaining checks.
