Twenty-nine of 69 candidate lures were attractive to one or both scarabaeid subfamilies, Cetoniinae and Rutelinae, found in South Africa. Cinnamyl alcohol, 3-phenyl-2-propen-1-ol, was highly attractive to both these pestiferous beetle subfamilies. -from Authors
