摘要
Substructures formed during creep of single phase polycrystalline TiAl has been investigated. The structures depend on the stress level which is classified into three ranges according to creep behavior such as the type of creep curves and the stress exponent. Structures also depend drastically on strain in each stress range. In particular, the structure change during creep in the intermediate stress range shows quite characteristic features. Dislocations observed before and after the stage of minimum strain-rate are characterized. The structure change in creep under intermediate stresses is similar to that observed in conventional testing.
