APPLICATION OF THE EMERGING-INTENSITY FITTING METHOD FOR INVERSE SCATTERING PROBLEMS TO A SYSTEM BOUNDED BY TRANSPARENT PLATES

摘要
The emerging-intensity fitting method developed recently by the author is applied to the solution of inverse scattering problems for a dispersed medium bounded by transparent plates. The stability and accuracy of the solution are discussed by using several numerical simulations. The inversion procedure is again shown to work well, even for very noisy data. It is suggested that the experimental determination of the radiative properties of a scattering medium without solid boundaries such as porous plates is facilitated by bounding the system using transparent plates.
