摘要
The hydrodynamic and electrodriven permeation of sodium chloride and magnesium chloride solutions has been studied using cellulose acetate and Dowex 50 membranes with and without a lecithin liquid membrane. Both types of permeation vary significantly with concentration and pH. Hydrodynamic permeability is lowered in the presence of a liquid membrane, and decreases with lowering of concentration and increase of pH in both the cases. Electroosmotic permeability is enhanced by the lecithin liquid membrane and increases with increase in both concentration and pH. Examination of the results shows that lecithin liquid membrane characteristics also vary with the concentration and pH of the permeating solutions.
