摘要
The position response of a position-sensitive detector (PSD) irradiated with multiple light beams is described. The theory that PSD outputs represent the intensity-weighted mean of the incident beam positions is experimentally proved. The assumption, deduced from the theory, that there is no influence of the beam diameter of the incident light on the position-detection linearity was investigated and was experimentally proved. © 1990.
