摘要
Geometrical effects on electrocatalytic activity are described for two types of reactions on reproducible and well-defined surfaces of known surface composition and geometrical arrangement obtained by underpotential deposition. New concepts, Shole for electrode surfaces and SR for reactions, have been defined. Based on these concepts, the hydrogen evolution reaction, ethylene hydrogenation and formic acid oxydation are treated.
