摘要
This paper reviews the recent advances and general trends in drying technologies of industrial interest. Numerous emerging technologies are listed with emphasis on the following five areas: Carver-Greenfield Process for dying of sludges, superheated steam drying, pluse combustion dying, high intensity drying techniques for paper and the novel impinging stream dryers. Potential application areas for the new technologies are identified.
