APPLICATION OF NON-PHOTOCHEMICAL HOLE BURNING TO THE 2-PHOTON SPECTROSCOPY OF IMPURITY MOLECULES IN LOW-TEMPERATURE GLASSES

摘要
One-photon non-photochemical hole burning (NPHB) is shown to be a viable method for producing narrow-line two-photon spectra of molecules in solution at low temperature. The TPE spectrum of phenanthrene at 2 K in a glassy medium is presented and is shown to manifest one-photon NPHB effects. © 1979.
