ULTRAFAST LARGE DYNAMIC-RANGE SPECTROSCOPY

摘要
We report a technique that extends the dynamic range of time resolved measurements to greater than seven orders of magnitude from femtoseconds to microseconds. This technique is applied to two organic dye solutions for the measurement of intersystem crossing rates and triplet state lifetimes. We also measure nonexponential relaxation in solid C60, elucidating two separate relaxation processes with different time dependences.
