摘要:
Positive Realness preservation properties of five commonly used discretization methods are examined. The main conclusion of the paper is that the positive realness of a dynamic system in a continuous domain may not always imply the same thing in a discrete domain when the system is discretized. In fact, whether the resulting discrete system is still positive real or not depends very much on which discretization methods have been used. The implication of the results on the concept of hyperstability of closed-loop dynamic systems is also discussed with the emphasis on Model Reference Adaptive Controls.
