摘要
This review discusses water tree growth in polyethylene cable insulations. The characteristics of water trees, the effect of aging parameters on water tree growth and the possible mechanisms of growth are considered, emphasizing vented tree development in polyethylene insulating materials. Moreover, test methods and measures to reduce water treeing are discussed. © 1990 IEEE.
