摘要
The effects of small amounts of water added to the alpha and beta anomers of D-glucose have been investigated. The monohydrate of alpha-D-glucose was formed under these conditions and its FT-Raman spectrum has been recorded for the first time. The combination of crystallographic data and vibrational spectroscopy, based on the study of alpha and beta D-glucose, with special emphasis on conformation and configuration sensitive modes, enabled band assignments to be made for the monohydrate of alpha-D-glucose.
