CHANGE IN ELECTROCHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF TIO2 CAUSED BY ANODIC POLARIZATION UNDER ILLUMINATION IN ACETONITRILE SOLUTIONS

摘要
The photoresponse of TiO//2(rutile) was changed by anodic polarization under illumination in acetonitrile solutions containing electrolytes of very high electrochemical stability. The degree of the change was high for rutile having a high donor concentration. Electrochemical properties in the dark were also changed by the same anodic polarization. The drift of lattice defects, which occurs during the anodic polarization, seems to be responsible for the observed change in electrochemical properties.
