摘要
Experiments that demonstrate the synthesis of a certain class of partially coherent secondary sources are described. The present technique consists of combining the radiation from two uncorrelated primary sources in an interferometer. The degree of spectral coherence is shown to be directly related to the passband of a general spectral filter.
