摘要
The responses of several mitotic systems to the β-exotoxin and δ-endotoxin protein from Bacillus thuringiensis were assayed as a sequel to the test results of the exotoxin in Allium. The protein sub-unit of the δ-endotoxin had no effect on the root meristematic cells of A. cepa, A. sativum or Vicia faba except for a mild mitodepression. The β-exotoxin, on the other hand, was C-mitotic in all these systems and also caused centromeric extension and clastogenesis in A. sativum. © 1979.
