It has been found that H2IrCl6, MoCl5 and CuCl2 introduced into the electrolyte for the electrochemical polymerization of aniline on titanium lead to decrease of both the potential of the initial stage of reaction and the induction period. Surprisingly, H2PtCl6 and RhCl3 show an opposite effect. Electrochemical properties of the polyaniline formed are presented.
