摘要
Using a conduction-type calorimeter we have reinvestigated the phase transition in Rochelle salt (or NaKC4H6O6.4H2O) at temperature T(c0)=212 K reported by Bronowska [J. Appl. Crystallog. 14, 203 (1981)] from structural- and thermal-expansion studies, In contrast to some of the previously reported negative heat capacity anomalies in Rochelle salt at T(c0) and T(c1)=256 K, we observed only positive heat-capacity anomalies at the three temperatures T(c0)=212 K, T(c1)=256 K, and T(c2)=297 K.
