Polarizable-ion model for vibrationally excited alkali halides

摘要
The variation of dipole moment, vibrational spacings. and rotational constant with vibrational excitation is calculated for the eight halides of K and Cs, employing a polarizable ion pair model due to Rittner. The results compare well with available experimental data.
