DETERMINATION OF ANTHRACENE-DERIVATIVES BY CYCLODEXTRIN-MODIFIED MICELLAR ELECTROKINETIC CHROMATOGRAPHY COMBINED WITH HELIUM CADMIUM LASER FLUOROMETRY

摘要
Anthracene derivatives were separated by cyclodextrin-modified electrokinetic chromatography and measured with a laser fluorimetric detector. A separation efficiency of 120 000 theoretical plates was achieved by using a 60-cm capillary column. When a He-Cd laser (325 nm, 1 mW) was used as an exciting source, the detection limit was 7 x 10(-9) M for 9,10-dimethylanthracene. The absolute detection limit was estimated to be at subfemtogram levels, which is better than the values achieved by liquid chromatography combined with laser fluorescence detection.
