摘要
For a quasi-two-dimensional (Q2D) system in which the motion of charge carriers is confined to the xy plane, the z component of their momentum should be conserved and the electrons should emit 3D bosons only normal to the z axis. In this case, the effective electron-electron interaction potential in second-order perturbation is a logarithmic function of the interelectronic distance. Since the electron-electron interaction in the Q2D system is stronger than in the 3D case, T(c) rises to approximately 100 K when Cooper pairs are formed by exchanging 3D longitudinal optical phonons of long wavelength. We show that electron-photon and electron-electron scattering experiments can be used to test this model. In the electron-photon scattering experiment, the incident-photon direction is to be oriented parallel to the xy plane of the Cu oxide. If photons are scattered only normal to the z axis by electrons bound in the plane, Q2D electrons cannot emit 3D bosons in the z direction. In the corresponding electron-electron scattering experiment, electrons are also expected to be scattered only normal to the z axis.
