摘要
The preparation, spectroscopic and magnetic properties of some cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) halide complexes with 7-chloro-1-methyl-5-phenyl-3H-1,4-benzodiazepine-2-one are described. The most likely structure for the cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes is a pseudotetrahedral symmetry, whereas the copper(II) complexes are octahedral. Assignments for metal-halogen and metal-ligand stretching modes have also been made. From the magnetic properties it was concluded that the above ligand forms high-spin complexes with cobalt(II) and nickel(II). © 1979.
